SWISS-GARDEN GOLF RESORT & SPA DAMAI LAUT, LUMUT - DAY 3

17 SEPTEMBER 2012, MONDAY

Everyone was fully charged after a good night sleep especially the energetic fella.  Again, we had our breakfast at The Garden Terrace and again Kit boy walloped not one but two bowls of cornflakes and also buns with butter.

Since we still have plenty of time before check-out, Mommy decided to try out the trailer ride provided by the resort that will take us to tour around the resort including the jetty but chargeable at RM6.00 per adult and child at RM3.00.

At 10:45am, the Damai 3 trailer came and the first place that we passes by was their newly renovated apartments, the Swiss-Court Holiday Apartments situated not far away from the resort or where we stayed.

and finally made a pit stop at the jetty for a mere 5-10 minutes before sending us back to the resort.

At the jetty, Kit boy was given the opportunity to drive the trailer.  Yes, he actually drove the trailer and made a few rounds at the roundabout.  As you can see the uncle driver purposely put his hands up and away from the steering in order for us to take some pictures of our boy driving the trailer by himself.

Besides, the friendly uncle driver also helped us to take some group photos for the album.

The whole ride was actually very bumpy but fun and it took us about 35-40 minutes to complete the tour.  Back to the resort at 11:20am and just in time for Mommy to pack, Daddy to refresh himself by taking a hot shower before the long hours drive and Kit boy to monkey-jumping on the bed before we checked-out and waived goodbye to Swiss-Garden Golf Resort & Spa Damai Laut. 

Swiss-Garden Golf Resort & Spa Damai Laut located at Persiaran Swiss-Garden, Jalan Damai Laut is a 4-star hotel that offers accommodation of international standards with superb resort facilities and services that promises a memorable and rewarding stay.   

The resort houses 300 deluxe rooms and 5 F&B outlets namely The Garden Terrace where we had our stomach-filling buffet breakfast, The Gayam Seafood Barbeque & Bar, The Blue Chip Lounge, The Swiss Deli and last but not least, the Blossom & Thai Taste Restaurant where we had a scrumptious dinner mix of Chinese and Thai cuisine.

After we left the resort, instead of driving back to KL, Daddy took us to Ipoh town for the ever famous Lou Wong chicken rice for lunch.  The restaurant was jam packed with patrons when we arrived at about 2:00pm but luckily we waited only for a short while before we got a table.   

We reached home at about 6:45pm and everybody was so exhausted especially Daddy after driving for so many hours.

Overall, this 3days/2nights trip exploring Damai Laut was quite relaxing and I believed that everyone had a wonderful time together, enjoying all the good food while having so much fun especially Kit boy having a chance to drive a real moving trailer on the road for the very first time.
