小姑姐 & UNCLE ERIC'S ROM

09 SEPTEMBER 2009, WEDNESDAY
JABATAN PENDAFTARAN NEGARA PUTRAJAYA

Chinese always believed that 9 is a number that represents long lasting and this is the main reason why 09 September 2009 (09/09/09) has been choosen by many couples around the world to tie up the knot on this special day and so do our 小姑姐 and Uncle Eric.

Yesterday, Mak and myself were on annual leave to attend 小姑姐 and Uncle Eric's marriage registration ceremony at Putrajaya. Together with us were 婆婆, grandpa and grandma. Upon our arrival at Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara about 8:30am, many couples were already there waiting for their name to be called into the registration hall. When Uncle Eric's name were called by the officer, all of us proceed to the registration hall for the signing ceremony. Besides 小姑姐 and Uncle Eric, both daddy and Uncle Eric's mother were also seated at the registration table as the witness of the ceremony. The officer-in-charged was very friendly and even joked with us. It actually took less than 20 minutes to complete the whole process which inclusive of signing of the Marriage Certificate and also exchanging of wedding rings. We left Putrajaya at about 10:15am and had our early lunch at Moon Palace Restaurant (八月花) in the Mines Shopping Centre.

And for our little Kit boy, he was very excited and busy running all about freely and happily in the registration hall without anyone stopping him while we were capturing all the memorable shots.
